Community Garden

The Little Dragon's Community Garden was started in 2017 in front of the Purcell Multipurpose Center as a location to help educate people of all ages about gardening and food.

Now the 2019 season is upon us and the garden has moved to the west side of the Multipurpose Center. There are currently five 4 feet by 4 feet beds to be used by volunteers. More beds will be added as the demand increases for them.

Goals

Review the goals for the Little Dragon's Community Garden:

  • People can give classes to teach about the many aspects of gardening and nature.
  • To offer a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can share gardening information and experience with each other.
  • To show people of all ages where food comes from and how they can grown their own.
